Creating a youth newspaper with young people
Vox POP – the 100% youth newsroom!
This project guides a group of young people aged 12 to 18 in creating a periodic newspaper: "from idea to publication".
Vox POP is a 100% youth-led editorial project, the result of a collaboration between Le Courrier Lavaux-Oron-Jorat and the Kernel Media Project, in partnership with the Vaud State Information and Communication Office (BIC).
The project is supported by the Canton of Vaud's Office for Media Diversity and benefits from shared funding with Le Courrier — underscoring its importance for pluralism, inclusion and the participation of young people in the media landscape.
Vox POP offers a media space where young people can express themselves freely, develop their critical thinking and discover how professional journalism works.
